OUR PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES
MOBILE STEM LAB: Where the magic happens
We bring STEM activities to interested students. We make this available for in-class lab demonstrations, after school workshops, hackathons, youth retreats, and STEM camps. Our Mobile STEM Lab will travel throughout the Kansas City school district, bringing STEM to interested students. The main focus is on basic, practical skills and exposing students to technology. Industry professionals visit, demonstrating the tools they use in everyday work.
The Mobile STEM Lab includes 20 Chromebooks, 1 tablet, a wifi hotspot, a 3D printer, computer science modules, water quality test kits, biomimetics, Arduino, mini drone kits, geography and financial literacy studies all inside a mobile charging cart. This Mobile STEM Lab is what makes our programs and activities possible. We bring the software and hardware to students so they can experience the power of STEM. Our Mobile STEM Lab travels to schools and gives students the opportunity to use state-of-the-art technology by appointment.
Let us know what you want to learn and we can tailor a lab to meet your needs.
